Re.:  Qualifications for Licensure by Endorsement for a Dentist (R156-69-302#)

I am writing to express my deep concern regarding the proposed change in rules for the licensing of dentists in our state.  I believe these rules, if adopted, could result in grave harm to the public.  I want to be very clear that I am not opposed to foreign trained dentists obtaining a license, and providing dental care to the people of the State of Utah.  The current guidelines for licensing foreign trained dentists in Utah are time-tested and serve to protect the health and well-being of the public.  Please do not adopt the proposed changes.
